It is a local farm, literally 10 minutes away from our house. Every Tuesday my daughter and I head out to the farm to pick up our bag for the week. It is a great outing, and I feel like we are really getting to know the farmers. They have fantastic recipes for all the things in our bag on a weekly basis, and we get updates on how the farm is doing!
I would suggest looking around though; we picked our CSA because it gave a wide variety of fruits and veggies. Some do just veggies; some even sometimes do meat and eggs! Here is a link to a good website to help you find one in your area: http://www.localharvest.org/csa/
They might be all full (we reserve our spot in February/March) but there might be a few available for this year if not there is always next year. It sometimes seems like a lot up front, but I paid back in Feb. so now it just feels like free food every week (plus it is local and organic)!Nichole Carterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16890342707071582450noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8912231996812252711.post-18848346444726121272010-06-28T14:49:44.897-07:002010-06-28T14:49:44.897-07:00This is perfect summer menu!
